All ribbon ends are heat sealed to prevent fraying.  This hairbow measures just under 5 inches wide and can be attached to your choice of clip.  It also looks great attached to a crochet headband so little ones can wear this too even if they are light on hair.  When attached to a crochet headband, the bow will be able to be removed and worn alone when that time comes.
